I like the intent regarding low min ST reqs for weapons in the rules. The intent stated before was to give starting characters a wider choice of weapons and let that choice be largely one of character concept.
I believe the intent of granting multiple attacks with skill was to allow skilled characters to deal more damage (and possibly to take on more foes at once).
To further these intents, what if...
Other weapons being axes and pole-arms. Unique weapons like whips and flails would use skill-based damage.
No ST reqs at all. No extra attacks or parries.
