you are too kind, sir. i started making them before i discovered TFT. at the time, i was looking to create pen-and-paper versions of retro video games or 'video games on paper'. i like them because 1)i made them. i've been tweaking on them about once a week for the past two years. very therapeutic when stressed out. 2)it's just heads so there's no conflicts between the picture and the weapons/armor of the 'figure' it represents. 3)this also makes them multi-purpose. need counters for a bunch of gators? use the green 'kobold' counters. need stone-beetle counters? use the ones i drew to look like ant-man heads. etc.
strangely, over the past 2 years, i've struggled to come up with a better looking wolf and never could until after i posted the PDF. i never liked my wolf (grey thing that looks more like an evil raccoon or some other rodent). the night after i posted this, it all of sudden hit me what to do:
now i can spend the next 2 years figuring out how to make a better-looking, 8-bit retro medusa!
