I've seen it suggested that Parry and Shield Block (as written) lead to some long drawn-out fights with lots of "misses". One suggested solution is to only allow half of one's weapon skill to apply to Parry. I like the intention of this suggestion but there is a simpler way of implementing that intention.
Make Parry and Shield Block 4-die tests.
