As a late Christmas present, here are four spells I converted from OGL to HOW
I have a feeling that Boulder might be too overpowered though. The sources are [bracketed and italicized].
Boulder [Races of Renown: Hammer & Helm pg.69-70] (T) IQ13 ENx R:IQ
A spherical bundle of elemental earth rolls around the battlefield under your control. The boulder occupies a single space and moves up to 20' in a straight line every round in a direction of your choice. If the boulder enters an occupied space then the creature may Dodge or spend a reaction to make 4/ST test to halt the boulder. A creature that fails to Dodge or halt the boulder is knocked prone and suffers 1D6+5 damage. The boulder has an effective ST of 30 and can be destroyed by any form of attack.
Canopy Walk [Races of Renown: Bow & Blade pg.71] (T) IQ10 EN2* R:Touch
For every 2 EN spent, one creature gains the ability to stride along any vegetation or plant matter as if it were solid ground. Tree trunks, vines, and even leaves form a comfortable walking surface—even the upper canopy of a forest or jungle. Gaps in the canopy require some other means to cross, such as a jumping , just as gaps in the ground would. This spell's effects last for up ten minutes per caster's IQ.
Measure Distance [Gnomes: Masters of Illusion pg.75] (I) IQ8 EN1 R:LoS
The caster learns the distance to single visible object, accurate to the nearest foot.
Stop Mechanism [Gnomes: Masters of Illusion pg.75] (T; see text) IQ10 EN1 R:Touch
This spell completely stops the mechanical action of any non-magical machine or device by halting one of its moving components. For average machines like small porticuli or windmills this spell lasts for IQ rounds. For small machines such as watches it last IQ days. For rifles it may last IQ minutes and for pistols it my last IQ hours. Finally, for exceptionally large machines such as ballistae, catapults, or heavy-duty porticulli, it only lasts for a single round.
